My first birth story as a Boulder Colorado Birth Photographer

As a birth photographer, I have gotten the honor of capturing some incredible stories. My first birth story in Louisville, Colorado was no exception. A few months prior to the actual birth, I got the chance to meet the mama during our initial chat and then her family while shooting their maternity session. I felt that click right away.

On the day of the baby's arrival, I got a call that mama was heading to the hospital. Given that this was her second birth, I rushed over to the hospital where I found mom and dad ordering food. The room was as calm as you can get. What happened next surprised us all - within 45 minutes she had her baby in her arms! It was amazing to witness this woman's strength and courage not only through labor but also as some complications arose with the placenta, proving once again how truly remarkable women are.
