Stranger #5: Lola

Lola, my beautiful stranger number five.

I was walking around Berkeley in the pouring rain today looking for a cafe to work in when I walked past Lola’s African Apparel. The amazing colors drew me in immediately. And then I met Lola, the beautiful, warm Nigerian woman who runs the store. She kindly let me photograph all the authentic African apparel and then she even let me photograph her beautiful self. And, I, of course, didn’t leave without a pair of beaded, hoop earrings that I’ll be flaunting soon.
